This workshop teach you great techniques of the late Eiichi Miyasato sensei who was a leading Okinawan Karate master of Goju-Ryu Karate. Okinawan karate has amazing techniques and completely different from so-called sports Karate. It control the opponent by only breathing and body handling without using any power. Let’s experience the difference from sports Karate. This Program is for Intermediate and advanced. We hope you can find new stage of Karate through this workshop.

Workshop concept
The late Miyazato sensei is the founder of Okinawa Goju-Ryu Karate do kyokai. He devoted his entire life to Karate, He taught not only in Japan,but also all over the world.The main theme of this workshop is how to use Waza (technique) adapted to breathing unique skill of Goju-Ryu Karate.
They are the students who learned the nearest and longest from Miyazato sensei. Their movement is very amazing. They will teach how to use whole body, how to breathe, and so on.

He was a leading Okinawan master of Goju-ryu karate. He was a senior post-war student of Chōjun Miyagi, founder of the Goju-ryu style. Miyazato held the rank of 10th dan in Karate and 8th dan in Judo. Miyazato’s students included many famous master, e.g, Morio Higaonna, Teruo Chinen.

He is the student that Eiichi Miyazato sensei taught the longest. Miyazato sensei loved him very much, so he knows a lot of technique and episode of Miyazato sensei.

He is a close friend of Gima sensei, and learned from Miyazato sensei togeher for a long time. Director of Federation of Okinawa Karate, old martial arts.

Notes
・You need to respect Okinawan Karate Grand master.
・You have to bow when entering and leaving the dojo.
・Do not bother other students.
・Please bring your own Karate uniform, towel, and drink(s).
・Make sure you arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the start of lesson.
・Be sure to turn off your mobile phone during the lesson.
・You are not allowed to take pictures nor record without the permission of the sensei.
