Karate History Tour in Naha on December 5th, 2019 for Goju-ryu members

We had 2 visitors who came all the way from America to join our Karate History Tour. As their Karate style is goju-ryu, we catered the tour with that in mind. After picking them up from their hotel at 9:30, we started the tour from 10am, visiting several different places along the tour. Below are photos of their tour.

The 1st Okinawan Traditional Karate and Kobudo Charity Demonstration on December 8th

We held “The 1st Okinawan Traditional Karate and Kobudo Charity Demonstration” on December 8th at National Theater Okinawa. There were over 200 people who attended, with a portion of ticket sales going to the reconstruction of Shuri Castle.

It was a wonderful event, where 8 locally owned and managed dojos put on a great display. Everyone had a great time not only watching the dojos perform, but also learning some of the secret methods and techniques by a few Senseis like Goju-ryu 9th Dan Tsuneo Kinjo Sensei or Kobudo 9th Dan Hiroshi Akamine.

【Report】Waryu Dojo 14 days Budo-camp in Okinawa, Kyoto and Osaka

Over 70 Budo-practitioners came to Okinawa from Switzerland and Poland. Fortunately we got a chance to arrange their Budo-training classes and other activities. We had arranged for them to have three hours of Budo classes, which cover three major martial arts (Karate, Aiki-do and Iai-do). In order to make the camp more beneficial for them, we arranged three great masters of each martial art.

【Report】Funakoshi Sensei Camp from April 1st to 3rd, 2019

We had Funakoshi Sensei’s Camp from April 1st to April 3rd, 2019. There were 27 Karate students from Nagoya who came to Okinawa to participate in this camp. The camp included karate training at dojos, sightseeing, and enjoying the day at the beach. Everyone displayed their karate skills very well. They had a wonderful time.
We will have the camp again next year.

Our Okinawa Karate Tourism service appeared in Okinawa TV Prime news twice on 3rd August 2018. We are very lucky our company was reported on Media three times this week! Because of the 1st Okinawa Karate International Tournament was held from 1st August to 5th August, media pay lot attention to Okinawa Karate! I hear that about 35 hundreds people participated in this tournament!!

Our company “Ageshio Japan Co.,Ltd” appeared in one of the famous Okinawa newspaper “Ryukyu Shimpo”on August 1st,2018.

This article faced on our CEO Kenjiro Ueda（Kenny）. He has practiced Karate for 34 years, and he was Champion of Shito-Ryu all Japan championship tournament in 1997 and Karate Australia championship tournament in 1999 & 2001. In addition he has managed travel his own travel company for 15 years old. Through his experience of Karate and travel business, he came up with Okinawa Karate travel tourism and founded Ageshio Japan Co.,Ltd last year.

He wants foreign Karate practitioners to experience real Okinawan Karate in Okinawa.

Our company “Ageshio Japan Co.,Ltd” appeared in one of the famous Okinawa newspaper “Okinawa Times” on the top page on July 30th, 2018.

It introduced our company, our president and our service of Karate tourism menu. The first Okinawa Karate International Tournament was held on August 1st, 2018. So Okinawan Karate and Okinawan Karate tourism gets more and more attention by various media.
